Circles of Reconciliation
Circles for Reconciliation
The next MEEPA event will be on Tuesday, November 27th from 8:30 to noon on “Circles for Reconciliation” at 1146 Waverley. The morning will be hosted and sponsored by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.
Circles for Reconciliation is a Manitoba-made grassroots program that was created to establish trusting, meaningful relationships between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous peoples as part of the 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. On November 27th, Raymond Currie, Project Coordinator, and Clayton Sandy, Indigenous Ambassador, for Circles for Reconciliation will provide a presentation on the Program. Participants will also get to experience a demonstration on how the program works. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries will present on their experience implementing the program within their corporation, followed by a Q & A with Raymond and Clayton on how you can implement the Circles for Reconciliation program in your own organization or community.
Limited seating is available.
